Long Term Care Planning

We’re all living longer. There’s a good chance you, or someone you know, is going to need some form of care in the future. That’s why building Long Term Care into your financial plan is an increasingly important part of planning for later life.

We work with clients and individuals who hold Lasting Power of Attorney for their loved ones to plan for their future, whether that is covering the cost of care or paying for nursing home fees. These costs can be significant, so it’s important to get it right and make sure you are suitably prepared.

We also offer a Long Term Care planning report service. We will use our expert knowledge to ensure:

  • You’re aware of the funding options available to you
  • You have a long term care plan in place which suits your financial situation so you can comfortably support yourself in the future
  • You are aware of any inheritance implications your long term care plan may have for your family
  • You are aware of any tax implications.

We’re members of Dementia Action Alliance

Sadly, dementia is something we come across more and more frequently. We’re members of Dementia Action Alliance and all our staff are Dementia Friendly trained to give them awareness in this sensitive matter. We like to be proactive in supporting our clients before care is needed, but wherever possible we also involve the client’s family, children, close relatives and friends, so they can help support the client with dementia, and their carer.

The Financial Vulnerability Taskforce CharterFinancial Vulnerability Taskforce

We’ve committed to The Financial Vulnerability Taskforce, an independent and inclusive representative body covering the personal finance sector. Supported by the Personal Finance Society, it seeks to promote greater understanding of vulnerability, encourage appropriate behaviours and establish good practice in respect of people who find themselves in vulnerable circumstances. We’re a safe pair of hands.
